Ashley potty trained...

今天Ashley 到 daycare 再也沒穿diaper或pull-up了. 老師們嘖嘖稱讚 (有點誇張). 但進步神速的Ashley, 不再有 accidents. 連午睡和晚上睡覺都會自己起來pee-pee...! 但我們也麻煩了, 三更半夜耳朵邊就會傳來 .... "mommy..I want to go pee-pee..." 好恐怖阿...我的好眠日子..要趕快在Ashley 房間擺個 training potty了..我們家兩大箱的diapers要來促銷了 ! :)

Ashley is potty trained!　兩歲又三個月!

Ashley不用穿diaper了! 兩歲又三個月! Horay!

Ashley很小就會說 pee-pee, poop-poop. 所以我們其實也沒怎麼train她, 只是順其自然的給她穿小內褲, 有時出門就給她穿pull-up, 以免有accident. 有時不小心有accident, 就跟她提醒: "妹妹, 你沒有穿diaper 了, so pee-pee in the potty, ok?" Ashley 也總是回答: "ok, pee-pee in the potty".

Ashley 在家自己會先說: "I want to go pee-pee..". 或: "I want to go poop-poop". 然後就自己走去廁所. 拉下褲子, 爬上小凳子, 一屁股坐在我們大人用的 potty上. 有時我很擔心她會摔到馬桶裡, 但看她技術好得很, 我就放心了.

從Potty train 彤和Ashley中, 我們悟出了一個心得, 就是要讓potty easily accessible. 孩子們可以自己去. 彤potty train 進步最多的時候, 也就是我們買了一個小小的training potty 放在她房間門口.　Ashley 技術很好, 大人的potty加個小凳子, 就可以了. 我們這次前前後後不間斷的 train Ashley, 不過一個星期不到, 就成功了. 也因為Christmas 期間, Ashley 常放假在家, 我們多有時間陪她. 不過, 每個孩子ready的時候還是不同的. (彤的training花了我們3-4個月!)

我想, Ashley potty train 成功最大的功臣應該是彤彤. 因為 Ashley 從小就樂於參觀彤彤姐姐pee-pee, poop-poop 並常常跟著姐姐跑廁所. 有時還會comment姐姐的poop-poop is "so big". (真是很不衛生的Ashley) 有時姐姐上完了, Ashley 還會堅持說: "my turn! my turn!" 也要上potty 去坐坐才甘心.

Ashley ...佻皮搗蛋...

Ashely 在有姐姐的陪同下快速長大. 常常欺負姐姐. 彤彤也是個超老實的姐姐, 也就常常被 Ashley push around..(literally push around)!

今天在教會, Ashley 為了和姐姐搶坐小椅子, 就一把用力把已經坐在椅子上的彤彤推下來. 彤正努力的想坐回椅子上, Ashley 就大力的朝姐姐肩牓揍了一拳, 並大聲說: "No, 姐姐, it's mine!". 姐姐就這麼被推下椅子, 哇哇大哭.

我趕忙衝了上去, 抱住彤彤, 對Ashley 很兇的說: "妹妹, no pushing, say you're sorry!" Ashley 看了我一眼, 想了想, 假裝了一付很虧欠的樣子說: "I'm sorry". 我說: "看姐姐哭了, 去給姐姐 hug and kiss一下". Ashley 就乖乖得走過去, 抱了也親了姐姐一下, 還故作關心得說: "姐姐, Are you ok?"

姐姐好不容易不哭了, 正準備坐回椅子上, Ashley 立刻又擠回椅子上, 倔著嘴說:　"妹妹’s turn!" 彤只好繼續哇哇大哭...

(Ashley 真不是個省油的燈阿..!)

在發展上, Ashley 真是很快速. 已經從自己會說要去 POTTY 到, 會自己爬上POTTY 去 POOP... 想當年彤到三歲都不會自己上POTTY, 就覺得真是後生可畏也...!

今天我們全家到了北邊 Aurora 附近的一個 farm. William 在 sweet-mommy-deal download 了 coupon. 一個人全天玩的門票只要 6 dollars. 我們一早就興高彩列的出遊了! 我們因為去的很早, 所以 farm 沒什麼人, 我們就帶彤和Ashley 去騎 pony. 又坐wagon ride. Farm 裡有很多玩樂設備如 jumpy castle, ferri's wheel, fun slide, 還有很多很友善的動物可以讓小朋友去摸. 最後門票還包了每人一支雪糕冰淇淋... !! 彤和Ashley騎了好幾圈的 pony ride, wagon ride. 實在不知道 William 怎麼會發現如此好deal 的 coupon!

Ashley Potty Trainining (big success!)

還記得彤滿三歲起, 我們開始potty train彤, 也不知怎麼搞的, 弄了5-6個月, 彤白天才不用穿diaper, 但午睡和晚上睡覺都還要穿pull-up. 很多當媽的朋友都告訴我, 小孩最快能開始potty train, 是兩歲, 於是, 我這懶媽就想, 好吧等Ashley九月滿兩歲後, 我再開始potty train她. 如果能成功就非常偉大了. (早姐姐一年!)

Ashley 是個很有趣的小孩, 早在2-3個月前 (剛滿18個月不久) Ashley 就會說 'pee-pee' 和 'poop-poop', (因為我們每次看到她在使勁的時候, 就會對她說poop-poop, 洗澡前就把她放在potty上, 指著她的小肚子下面, 問她要不要pee-pee) 當Ashley說 'pee-pee', 'poop-poop', 我有時就會趕緊把她放在potty 上, 看她會不會真的pee-pee, poop-poop.但是從來什麼也沒有, 所以最近, 我也就懶得理她了, 想等到兩歲後再說吧.

但今天很特別, 晚飯後, Ashley又抓著屁股說 'poop-poop', 我剛好坐在一樓廁所旁的地上陪彤玩lego, 我就把Ashley帶到廁所, 放她在potty 上, 問她說, "is poop-poop coming?" Ashley 清楚的說： 'yes'. (這沒什麼了不起的, 因為Ashley 常說 yes 但都欺騙我的感情, 什麼都沒有) 我接著又說: "good girl, poop-poop in the potty". Ashley 重復說到: "poop-poop, potty" 小手指向屁股.

我陪Ashley在廁所坐了15分鐘, Ashley 就要下來並且對我說: "all done". 我想, 又再次欺騙我的感情, 什麼都沒有. 但5 分鐘後 Ashley 又說 'poop-poop', 把我拉到廁所去, 我心想, 好阿, 再試最後一次! 我又拖了diaper (真的很麻煩), 放她到potty上, 等了差不多 10 分鐘, 我就聽到Ashley 'pee-pee' 　的流水聲音!! 我很高興的問著: "all done?" Ashley說： "no"... 我又問: "is poop poop coming?" Ashley又說:　"yes". 但我實在沒耐性了. 就叫 William 進來 'babysit'. 我就閃出去陪彤彈鋼琴了.

又過了5分鐘,　William 大叫: "mommy, come see!" 我立馬衝進廁所, 只看見Ashley poop 在potty裡, William 在幫她穿褲子, 我高興的說:　"good job 妹妹！poop-poop in the potty!" 只看到Ashley 自己也得意的笑著....!!!

我們家的洗衣機

我們剛搬到 town house 不久, William 就買了一個超大的洗衣機, 一次能洗以往住 condo 時的洗衣機的 2.5 倍!! 剛開始使用這超大洗衣機時很不習慣, 以前每個禮拜洗兩桶衣服, 但用這新的洗衣機只須一桶, 而且還洗不滿. (害得我衣服褲子都得混在一起洗)... 三年後的今天, 我例規的洗衣服, 赫然發現, 竟然要洗三大桶!! 彤彤和 Ashley 的衣服加上 William 和我的衣服真是多得嚇人. 還好William 有遠見, 三年前買了這大型洗衣機, 不然我可要花上一整個星期六洗衣服阿!

Ashley 到 Little Prints 已經三週了. 還活著..!!

還記得Ashley 剛滿一歲到褓姆家時, 褓姆直接餵Ashley 吃我們一般人的食物, 也不攪碎, 我總想這Ashley 不餓死了嗎...? 沒想到小孩的潛能是不可低估的. 沒幾天Ashley 就和我們上味香村吃牛肉大餅了!

這次, Ashley 滿 16 個月的當天到 Little Prints 報到. 因直接跳級到 toddler class (infant class 沒位了). 就榮倖成為班上最小的 toddler. 我只看到小朋友们都坐好好, 自己拿spoon在用餐, 我心想, 這次Ashley 真的死定了. 我只看著Ashely 很努力的拿著 spoon, 努力的舀食物, 努力的放到嘴裡. 但是食物還沒到嘴裡, 就全都掉出來了..

三週後的今晚, 我們全家坐在餐桌用餐, William 給 Ashley 添了一碗飯, 挾了些菜, 只見Ashley 自己拿著湯匙, 一口接一口的吃, 食物再沒掉出來....真是不簡單阿!
